As I reflect on the past ten years, I am filled with gratitude and pride at the journey we've undertaken with The Brookside Apartments. Over TEN years ago I became the proud owner of this 24-unit building, marking the beginning of an incredible chapter in our investment portfolio. I wanted to document a bit of the journey that we have had with this awesome investment.

We began with essential maintenance tasks, washing the siding, updating windows, and ensuring that every aspect of the property was meticulously cared for. With the support of seven investor partners, we embarked on this journey with determination and commitment.

The road to success was not without its challenges. In 2015, the market in Alberta experienced a shift that impacted our initial expectations. However, our team's persistence, consistency, and patience proved to be invaluable assets. We weathered the storm, adapting our strategies and remaining steadfast in our commitment to The Brookside Apartments.



Achieving Milestones and Planning for the Future

Fast forward to today, and I am thrilled to share that our efforts have paid off in ways we could have only dreamed of. This year, we are scheduled to refinance, poised to return double the original capital investment to our investors. Additionally, we have exciting plans to update the exterior siding and decks, improve energy efficiency with new insulation, and enhance the interiors with modern amenities.

Together, we have increased the equity in this property by an impressive $1.5 million from our original investment of $300,000, resulting in a remarkable 500% total Return on Investment or 50% annual ROI.
